OVERVIEW

Aragats is a majestic and dormant stratovolcano, standing as the highest peak in Armenia and the entire Lesser Caucasus mountain range. This iconic mountain, with an elevation of 4,090 meters, is characterized by four distinct peaks, each named and contributing to the overall grandeur of the massif.

The slopes of Mount Aragats are dotted with alpine meadows, crystalline lakes, and diverse flora, creating a scenic landscape that attracts both nature enthusiasts and hikers. The four summits include the Northern Summit (4,090 m), Western Summit (4,080 m), Southern Summit (3,908 m), and the Eastern Summit (3,887 m).
